a video of the first four songs is over on youtube - they're clearly having a great time (could it be those "devastating ointments"? Naaahhhh....) So much fun - the "master and the apprentice", indeed.

Subject:
Bob & Jerry Duet at the Melkweg
I was at this show. While on the European tour the band canceled 2 shows in the south of France to be later moved to the Melkweg on the 15th & 16th of October. Between two shows in Germany, Bremen & Munich, on the day off, I went to Amsterdam to "hehehe" and was at the Bulldog Cafe, I was handed a poster/flier that said Jerry & Bob tonight at the Melkweg. The whole club was opened that night and many acts were preforming on the main and smaller stages as well as the bakery being open. BTW, when the Dead played there, just the main room was opened. My friend, Neil Stebal, bless his soul in the here-after, recorded this show on a Sony D-5. He was the only person recording in the audience besides the sound board. Somewheres in my archives are photos of this show. Remember, there was nothing like a Grateful Dead concert.
